The Character of The Muslim Woman: Women’s Emancipation During The Prophet’s Lifetime (Volume 1) – KUBE
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) established complete equality between men and women as he said, Women are full sisters of men. Yet both have their respective special functions. This volume draws out the features of the Muslim woman’s character as outlined in the Qur’an and Sunnah. It shows that much of what we imagine to be Islamic rulings are no more than social traditions.
Role of Muslim Woman in Society
The quran elevates the position of woman as a daughter, sister, wife, and mother, and in all these positions she enjoys all the social, economic, legal, religious and educational rights of man. The Prophet, by his teaching and practice, as explained before, fully established woman, in all the above roles, as a full fledged member of society, enjoying equal rights and status with man; and contributing equaly with him, if not more, to the growth and development of society and enrichment of human culture. This, however, in no way implies a similarity or uniformity in their functions as well. Both enjoy equal status and equal rights as humans and as co-partners in life. But in the field of work, their functions in general are of a different nature and scope, being mainly determined by their natural physical, physiological, physiological and emotional disposition. In this respect, it may be pointed out that dissimilarity and non-comformity in functions do not in any way reflect the inferiority or superiority of etheir sex. It is merely a division of work between them according to their natural abilities, aptitudes, capacities and endowments.

Weakness of Faith (IIPH)
The phenomenon of weak faith has become very widespread among Muslims, and many people complain about the hardness of their hearts. So often we hear the words, “I feel hardness in my heart,” “I do not find any joy in worship,” “I feel that my faith has hit rock bottom,” “Reading Qur’aan does not move me,” “I fall into sin so easily.” The effects of this affliction can be seen in many people, and this problem is the cause of every disaster and adversity.
One of the most important principles which must be understood in order to treat the problem of weak faith is that faith increases and decreases, or waxes and wanes. This is one of the basic principles of the ‘aqeedah of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah, who say that faith is something to be spoken in words, to be believed in in the heart, and to be put into action. Faith increases with obedience and decreases with disobedience.
‘… that they may grow more in Faith along with their (present) Faith…’ [al-Fath 48:4]
‘… Which of you has had his faith increased by it? …'[al-Tawbah 9:124]. aari, Fath, 1/51).

Based on empirical research, the book engages critically with the philosophical, theological and cultural dynamics that inform Muslim educational thought and practice. The book offers an integrated model of Islamic education that identifies the heart of the Islamic educational imagination as tarbiyah, a transformative process of becoming.
